I've seen those.
Their are several posible explinations, ranging from hypertension to exaustion.
The most likly paranormal explanation is that your seeing faeries in one form or another.
Windstorm i think i know what you are talking about, Sometimes i also see colored orbs or dots that appear for like a few seconds and then disappear. I think some of the may just be spirit energy or just energy in general.
I am psychic medium and so sometimes i can attract different kinds of spirits etc.
But recently i too see blue orbs but there only the size of a dime or nickel. and fade off etc. just a minute ago i saw a golden light orb and disappeared. I know they are spirits and i can feel them.
ok it could be something paranormal because I read a book about ghosts before and it had an article just on those and what you describe sounds just how the book described them
I am also a psychic medium and have seen them ranging in colors from Blue, silver, orange and just recently gold. Spirit energy. Determination and spiritual rewards,reaching levels of purity through the loss of ego, growth and attainment.
I too have seen such lights and from what I have gleaned it has to do with your ability to see auras or yes the proverbial spirit energy. I usually have this experience when I am practicing some form of chakra exercise such as meditation or martial arts. Except the dots I see are usually blue or green.
They could be nature spirits. Very small orbs tend to be connected with tinier spirits. And the most common little spirits are the little people/fae folk. Bigger orbs (the size of a ping pong ball or tennis ball) are normal spirits. Even bigger orbs are higher beings. Orbs are really easy to catch with a digital camera, you should try taking pictures and see if you can get proof of them.
Stay away from artificial light if you can. If they stop, or lessen, then its the medical explanation.. in most cases. Also focussing too often on one spot forces development of tunnel vision, which can cause problems as well.
