I've often been tempted to visit a fortune teller. I'm glad I haven't done it. Thanks for your post. It opened my eyes, and saved me a little money.

I did have a similar experience with an online horoscope site. They sent me some very interesting "news" about some money that I was going to come into, a positive job change, etc. And for a fee they would tell me how to recognized the signs so that I wouldn't miss out. Funny thing is, the few tidbits that the site mentioned about me (a dark cloud around me, negative energy, etc) actually sounded accurate as I've been a little concerned about how things were going lately. Well, the money never materialized on the specified date, and neither did the job offer.

So why was is it that she knew things about me? Was it because of my tattoos, hair colors or they way I dressed? Well I looked at the list you sent and I already see some people that I have seen already that seem honest to me. Thank you for the list.

Sometimes people like that look for what are called micro expressions. They are small and subconscious movements that our bodies make. If you've seen the television show "Lie To Me" you'll be familier with them. They can not only reveal when you are lying but if someone is on the right track with information about yourself. Your tattoos, clothes, hair and even how you stand, sit or walk send signals to your personality.

I'm sorry you had a bad expirence. people like this so called "fortune teller" is out for money. It's easy to be a little accurate. When talking in general people give out so much info about themselves with out even being aware of it. I do reading and all i like to know is their birthday. I don't like knowing any thing else because then it's hard for me to decide what i'm sensing and what i already know. anyhoo. I don't sense anything evil or bad around you. in fact it's just the opposite. there's a very bright white light around you. If you want a general reading, message me your b-day. nothing else. no information please. and i'll message you back. it's okay if you don't want one, but keep in mind there is no evil around you. so don't sweat it.

peace,
blackcat

Most of the advice given here about scams is good. Fortune tellers are very good psychologists. They are there to make money, and nothing else.

Ever wonder whenever someone goes to see a psychic, or has one of those "free" astrology readings, the first thing that they tell you is that you have a dark cloud of bad luck around you? And then for a fee, they promise to change your bad luck to good.

Sorry, but I believe the only person who can change your luck is you yourself.

They are only scams, and if you buy into what they keep telling you, you will lose just about everything, and they will be the only ones with good luck, since they'll be a heck of a lot richer.

Please stay away from them. Like it's been said, they're masters of reading body language and can make you believe that they're accurate about your life.
