Everybody knows the sayings people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. Keep your side of the street clean. Worst case scenario: you use defensive combat magic and end up learning something new about yourself. A curse isnt even the same thing. A curse to stop an idiot from taking advantage of someone seems a bit overkill unless you are omitting important information and in that case maybe its better not to bring it up.

Magic is NEVER instantaneous, you clearly know nothing about magic, spells have no power difference because they work on the principle of knowledge, lurn on what magic actually is before you do it, cause you have clearly not done that

Believe me honey
If you are that mad to get into a fight,
The monster who is sleeping inside you
Will awake
Of course if you have one

Well it really depends on what ''level'' of magic you are on but just in case you might want to prepare your self by practicing over and over and over again and even if that dose work come with pepper spray just in case

Its not a attack but you can use it to increase your streanth by tighting everey mussel and tenden up at once and focas puting as mutch strain on them as you can but whill being in a trance state will help you hold the tenshion longer and increse your pain tolarance to it but be careful slowley work up the teshion or you will start to tear your mussles and tendons and in the trance state you wont realise your doing it its not for a fight drectley but can increse your streanth and pain tolarance before hand this tecknic takes years but can increse it to abnormal but it has a price using it to reach abnormal couse permenet dammage to your body and you will allways fell the pain of your mussels pulling even when your not useing it thow your will more tolearnent to pain beacuse it will become a constent

What's helped me personally is picturing myself as "the warrior" able to use whatever weapon, then doing a quick practice in "mimicking" the "style" they use. This is how I choose to view quick fighting spells and how I choose to view my own take on it. Like nevermore said , if it doesn't work for you it won't make a difference. And the comment a witch who can't curse can't heal, is in a sense accurate. Personally I think there could be a better way to phrase it, but the point is, if you don't truly look at yourself for what works, than you can't truly ask what we have that works for you. A spell is personal. It's your view of the world, your imprint, your art, your feelings. Your spell should be as personal to you as everything else that makes you, you. Make sense? Most of this is simply my own musings from the previous posts in the thread, just a bit plainer. Again, what works for you will be whatever you take from this, not what we say word, for word, but how exactly you decide to interpret it. Did that help at all?

Well, I had to laugh at the comment that a sock with half a brick in it would work better than a magick spell in a fight.
I had an altercation in a parking lot with a girl who look my parking spot. She got really annoyed when I would not accept her apology. It got into a bit of a shouting match, boy, if the flames shouting out of my eyes did'nt work I don't know what would. Half a brick!
