Our coven has the same issue. We used to send messages explaining WHY they were rejected, or even before rejecting asking for them to fill their bio and send us the questionnaire answers.

So few replied, we just automatically reject them.

It seems like a common lesson commonly learned the hard way.

I myself have ran into the same thing repeatedly and at first i tried the patient approach and just messaging them telling them what was wrong with their profile or what they needed to fix and I have even gotten people who have clicked on the application button for my coven but then hasn't notified me at all and if I would of looked because I had one out of 10 that actually did read the front page and followed directions I wouldn't of even known about the other ones that applied who was to lazy to read the front page and follow directions as well as I've noticed that there are alot of them that why they either bother applying to a coven cause they are not even interested in being active in the coven but they only come on the site to use the chatter and try to make some big impressions on someone..Yes I agree it's aggravating and I basically just reject them so it will save me the time of when I have to do coven clean up..

Yes and the people who do these things to my coven act like some lazy un-educated social reject. They way they type is awful!

Recently had someone apply...going by ax.man . He's apparently part of Black Twilight, but has a secondary account (which I thought was against the rules) and wants to join another coven as well.

Just a heads up. Also--hard to read his posts. His spelling and use of chat-speak is terrible.

i know what you mean he was Horus in deep arts and his posts were terrible to understand. hes not a deep art member anymore ( but he did accuse me of being a demon LOL)

That's pretty funny.

I remember Horus vividly.

Well where do i start lol.

I had one member today mail me asking to join our coven, i replied and asked him for his entrance exam.

Few more messages later he stated he has sent me his exam, on checking he had sent me a few lines about himself, so i replied asking for the full entrance exam which contains 19 questions.

He then replied asking if he could send it me in bits lol.
My reply was i would prefer the whole exam in one message.
Few insulting messages later from him saying i didn't know what i was doing and the exam is difficult, i told him if he can't be bothered to complete the exam he won't be bothered participating within the coven.

19 messages later from him, i told him in plain and simple english he would not be allowed in our coven.

To all members who wish to apply to Deep arts do not message me asking to join, plain and simple english the entrance exam is on the coven front page , read it answer the questions then submit it to us.

Follow these simple rules those who do not will be an automatic rejection.
I havn't the time to hold your hands, if you are truly serious about joining the exam which is rather long will not discourage you.

Blessings.
Gin.

yes it is a problem but what is supposed to be sent with the application? i don't know and others probably don't know either

***(name, age, experience, time zone, how often you log on, interests, a little bit about you, why you want to join.)

is there anything else that is needed in an application?

An application (if needed) is usually on the coven description, its not that hard...
