Physically impossible.
If you were to travel back in time physically, and you stopped events that would cause you to be born, where'd you come from?
So hence, you can't really have a touch a butterfly whatever effect, because if it changes it, then you wouldn't be born.. hence.. how would you exist right now?
All you can do, is go on the etheric, and explore the records of all history and time, what has past is now past, it cannot be changed, else the paradoxical question occurs.

Haha you know, it could be ridiculously easy. for all we know we are just stressing over it and thinking it is hard, all the while deluding ourselves to truth. Or it is impossible. either way, trying to change the past would only result in more problems, or time would protect itself and make anything you do irrelevant. For now, we can veiw and learn from the past in the astral, but i havent heard anyone on here claiming that they actually traveled so meh, whatever.

Time is so relative. Once you can define the force you deem 'Time' then you can begin to figure out how to manipulate it.

As for it being physical, what we deem physical time is how we chronicle the rotation of the Earth around the Sun and around its own axis. Do you really want to move the Earth 'backwards/forwards' or do you want to travel through MOMENTS in time? To make the Earth rotate backwards would just change the amount of sunlight we see. It would make, for example, 4:00 pm as dark as midnight and our summer months would be associated with cold instead of warmth. You would not be able to visit the moments of 4:00 pm, but rather make right now the time of 4:00.

These MOMENTS are pure energy, captured in photos and movies; preserved forever in places like the astral plane and Akashic records. These are what we want to visit, and they do not alter the present as they are not the present.

You can't change events, as they have already occurred. You could visit the past and temporarily re-live or change something, but it can't change the present because only YOU are going back. If you could get every single atom that was present in the past to go back with you I think it would change. The past is not such a tangible thing. It's energy that you reconstruct into the moment that it was. The present is new energy. Every second so many tiny and obscure things change that it is impossible to change it all.

People seem to only be looking at time for its face value: You went to the store last Tuesday and bought chocolate icecream..

But do you remember the pattern of every leaf that blew across the street, how many hairs were on your head that day, how many times you blinked, the exact temperature of your body and everything around you? My guess is no.

That's why we can only visit the past, not change it.
