Now here's something interesting.
I decided to look at the coven's threads.
"Vision Quests: An ancient tradition common with old European, African, and Native American traditions. It is to exercise extreme physical action in order to allow the mind to enter a state of connection with spirit guides. This can include sweat lodges, physical exertion (running in the heat), and some cultures use hallucinogenics to enable the vision quest."
What it doesn't mention is that many Native Americans
have confirmed that it is unwise to use hallucination
as a form of spirit communication.
The reason why is because when you use them
it becomes more along the lines of various thoughts
that you just happen to come up with while you are high.
It is not spirits telling you anything,
it is not spirit guides,
it is not angels,
it is not demons,
and it is not a god or goddess of any kind.
It is a chemical imbalance caused by drugs.

Just one more thing.
It looks to me like Darkdragon has committed plagiarism.
Although I could be wrong,
and can not provide a site to support this theory,
the typing of his lessons do not look like his typing here
and elsewhere.
By that I mean the spelling is better,
bigger words are used,
and the message is much longer as well as detailed.
It looks to me like he got what he posted
from another site.

darkfog is also known as sanajk, and while I might get roasted on this forum for speaking my peace, I must say that I saw ten to one more unknowledgeable things come from her then not.
I think that sanajk (Darkfog) might be better suited as a council member or a member then a priestess. but this is just my opinion based on what I have seen her speak about, and ask questions about in the last year.
ps. pentamagic is the largest coven on this site, and I know what many of you think about it, and as for me, i am of the opinion that the numbers of members doesnt matter as much as the knowledge and training the priestess/priest provides

one more thing, many people use the thesaurasus in thier word processor and do tend to write better when typing up rituals and articles, and if you can find no website, then its unlikely that he plagiarised. though I do hope that this doesnt start a trend of coven stealing, or cause leaders to be wary about having a co-leader

It's very easy to check for authenticity of a thread made. Copy and paste most of it and see what comes up.
Anyways, this has gone way past " sticking up for a friend and trying to get a priest to do what is right " and straight into flamming, bullying and flat out bad mouthing someone.
Simply put, these are online covens that will and can change at a moments notice. As Pet has already said, and said a very long time ago when the free-for-all coven thing started...be careful who you put next to you as they can over throw you at anytime.
I suggest we let this die before people start getting in over their heads with the pointing of fingers.

From what I have read, I would support Darkfog, and I say that DarkDragon is nothing more then a powerhungry being who is in no position to teach anyone much less lead a coven.
For his actions he should be stripped of his power, cast down and shamed as he has shamed that coven.
He had his chance at redemption and he cast it aside, and has been consumed by his lust for power.
Also if he teaches on using drugs to achieve anything in Magic, then who knows if he is coherent when he does things?
As a drunk behind the wheel of a vehicle, altho this vehicle is as a buss with many people on it, and he is the unfit driver, and if he crashes the bus due to his "teachings" he takes them all down with him.
I would also like to know why Darkfog has backed down, curious it is, as there appear to be more then enough standing up for her, and against the new, powerhungry wretch of a leader of that coven now.
