There's like a huge defference there with the whole geo/terristral thing. Terristral just means land. Where's as geo includes land, plants, rock so I think geo would be over
Mic; read what I said. I posted Terrakinesis as EARTH manipulation, meaning the land. Furthermore, Geo and Terra are the same thing. They are just different words which most likely have different root languages.
Here's the definition of Terrain, which is the word meant by Terra:
1A: a geographic area
B: a piece of land: ground
2: The physical features of a tract of land
Now, please re-read that last definition because unless I have the definition of one or more words horribly wrong the "Physical features of a tract of land" would include the ground, the trees, the rocks, etc.
Ya know this just occured to me. Tera 1st defanation means land. While geo is earth. That s the main reason why its geo not tera. while their both have a latin root. There similar words (I can't quite spell the word synamons) its geo kensis. Not terakeniss

Mic; Same thing I have told so many other people. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, whether or not you base those beliefs on the facts that you can see or the facts you WANT to see is up to you. I'm not going to bother changing them if they aren't hurting anyone.
I agree with Ragnorok, Mica. Geo could refer to a specific Geographic location, that being dirt and grass if it's the right spot, whereas Terra could mean dirt grass and trees if it's the right spot. They are pretty much the same thing. Like the words beautiful and handsome, basically the same meaning just used for different situations.
Yea I'm releated to hanson. I learned it as geo. And I'm sure its geo. Cuases there's about 30 or so websites that call it that. And also I'm almot postive its mentioned in the elemental bending theared. Staerted by Jan mackel (ify on the last name) that's the reason why I use the word geo it could aply to anything. Where as terra applys to land
I understand that urge to define everything and have one word for a specific type of magic. However one must be careful when trying to put "mother earth" into one word.
As I see it controlling things with the mind is referred to as "kinesis" however it is a word game to come up with how many and
what specific definitions go with the prefix that can be attached to the root word.
Does it really matter what you call a person who can move earth related objects?
Personally I am an earth sign that can move some earth related objects how ever I do not define myself as either a "geo" "terra" or anything else with "kinesis" after it I just refer to myself has having some telekinetic powers. For I am not limited to and have expanded my abilities over time to understand that listing all the specific things I can do is a form of vanity which I believe leads down a path I do not wish to trod.
Just remember in life there will always be a person who has a different word for what you have and that with out compromise or understanding a fight over who is right will always ensue.
