r all the spells real???

I love questions like this/ There is no such thing as real spells or fake spells.

Like "Oh this spell was written by solomon himself, it's real power" or,

"This spell comes from the lips of Crowley himself, it will get the job done big time." Gimmie a break.

There is no such thing as super powerful spells, and spells that do nothing. Spells are nothing more than words, they are shapers of will. Without will, focus, the proper ingredients of self, the words mean nothing.

Most beginners believe that spells have some kind of intrinsic power. Intrinsic means that the words themselves have some kind of power, and if spoken correctly, with all the proper ingredients used, will work. That is just not so. Spells have no power whatsoever, it's all about the caster. Spells have "no" intrinsic power.

Don't be worrying about the spell, write your own, but asking for people to provide you with "real spells", well that is nonsense.

I would say there are a few real and decent spells. But a lot of them are fake, The spell casters coven is one of them. They have a lot of fluff and fake spells. I really think someone should try and clean out that covens spell spook. I know it tends to get fluffs sometimes but its nice to be able to have real spells, and not ones that do not work or are fake.

Spell Caster's Coven was enacted for good reason, and will be here for the entire life of the site. The idea behind it is so that anyone who wanted to post a Spell or Ritual could do so on their own without having to go through anyone.

As far as appointing a person or group to declare whether the spell is real or not would be almost impossible. This site houses many paths, traditions, and practices. Who is to say what is considered real or not. As long as the Spell or Ritual is written out plainly, incorporates all the details needed and looks good grammar wise it will be published. Editors and Moderators sift through the stack daily pulling obvious spam, and trying to correct grammatical errors.

All spells are on a rating system if you feel a spell is worthless then give it a lower rating. Aside from that use common sense.

I have been a practising witch for man, many years; I would never post a spell! I would never give a spell to anybody! And I will say this,you cannot learn to cast by only reading about it. The best way to learn is by joining a real coven, Pagan group, or personal teacher.

For a site such as this I believe its essential to have the Spell Casters coven, otherwise it would be an elite few who dictate which spells/rituals are available for viewing, to me this is why SOM is the No1 site.

I agree with Sean81, who is to say what is right and wrong, plus its good for people to pick spells apart and see how they work, gives you a better understanding if you have to work out if its genuine. I run a non-magic related site, you wouldn't believe the amount of work that goes into not only running the site but also battling with your own thoughts of whether something should be approved or not, the Mods/Editors on this site deserve a medal.

Yes, to witches and other practitioners of magick, spells work, but you have to ''believe'' they'll work..

I always mention love spells when explaining if magic works, that way it makes sense for me to explain, if that makes sense :)

Your putting energy into the spell, wanting that person to come into your life, but your also doubting the spell will work, so along with love your also putting doubt into the energy mix, now when that hits the person they'll be thinking "I love him/her, but hold on I have doubt it will work between us".

Just for 1 spell put all your belief into it work, doubt nothing not even for second, then when it works you'll have doubt removed.
