"I'm generally nice to those who deserve and brutal to those who I deem stupid or weaker than myself ^.^ The seven deadly sins are my 9 Satanic Statements. They are all to be enjoyed, and we all enjoy them. Those who claim they don't should go to a Sunday pig out after a church mass!:D I see the hypocricy in the world and smile with a black toothed grin as I weave my magic and manipulate it to my satisfaction :D.Christians are my mortal enemy because they claim superiority to God and I know better. My philosophy allows me to enjoy anything wish provided I take accountability for my actions.there is no set of morals that defines Satanism,so each one is unique "

Well Said.

A religion set on self improvement should never be your enemy.
That statement is filled with ignorance
and to choose so many enemies
based on the actions of so few compared to the mass
is an action showing even more ignorance.
Ignorance is what should be your enemy,
not a religion who's point is enlightenment and love.

Before anyone argues about that,
as Rag pointed out many times before leaving,
every religion has extremists,
every religion has false followers,
and every religion has hypocrites.
The true Christians are not the ones who do
any of the actions that so many people hate them for.

There is a higher something. But does it have a sex? It doesn't have to be a man. Maybe a woman.

True that. I believe it is genderless that we call it a she or a he.

Most people think that god is this person sitting on a chair in a place called heaven and looking down on us.

God is actually a force that is all around us, the energy inside every atom that makes up matter.

At the end of the day we all believe in the same god, just not in the same way. And we can't say that one person's way of believing in god is right and the other one is wrong. Here I must refer to many of the christians who believe in the bible. I don't believe in the bible, I don't read it. It was written by people, translated and rewritten hundreds of times. Every time it is rewritten, the people change things to suite them. I have seen this over and over again, how people change things in the bible to suite them.

I think that at the end of the day things like evolution did happen, but god made it happen.

Well, thats my opinion.

After reading a bunch of these posts I got to thinking. If god is universal and is the same for everyone, just seen in a diff way, and is capable of doing splendid things, then I pose this suggestion:

What if god is merely magick?

That is to say, what if god is the force in which we all tune in to, for help, for security, for wishes, power, and so forth. When we perform magick we focuse ourselves to a goal of some sort. When some one prays, they focuse themselves towards what they are praying about. The way I see it, its both focusing on something to achieve some means. So then why not the driving force be the same, just called diff things. One being god, the other magick.

Now yes I know this all might sound out there and crazy, and who knows maybe I am far off the mark, but to me it would seem rather logical that we all believe in the same thing, just see it in a slightly diff light.

Btw, thanks for the revive Flame, a good topic to bring back.
