When it's in a good and pure state, it can serve as a healthy ego.

It's said to be the colour of good health, and excitement. As well as lots of energy and stamina, creativity, courageous and out going.

Dark or muddy forest green is often related with jealousy, insecurity and low self esteem.

There are emotional, spiritual, chi auras, and a few others. With each kind of aura the color/pattern/size could mean something entirely different then another kind of aura.

Don't try.
Let your eyes relax and rest on the outline of a target. Never strain your eyes, never focus them, just relax them.
If you need to wear glasses for your eyesight then wear them all the time, but lower/raise them when looking for an aura. Wearing them will keep your eyes from straining all the time, but glass seems to make it harder to see Spirits, Auras, and the like.

There's many different theories about what the different colors in auras can mean. For instance, I've heard some people say black is a sign of death, some say it's a sign of vampirism, and some say it's a sign of immense power and psychic ability in an aura. What I've learned mostly in noticing your own personal vibes to the aura is usually the most helpful way of interpreting it. You could also do more research into the different symbolisms of the colors and decipher which one seems to be the most valid. So, google away, and good luck. : )

I just did a little aura exercise on my hand, I'm new at this, I saw like a solid yellow border around the part of my hand I was looking past
Yesterday the border was green, can it change?
