Uhm. You all do realize that an elf specifically works at the North Pole... Right? I think you are all mixing up elves with gnomes... Or you've watched too much anime.

Elves come from other traditions. For example, they are a type of spirit called the Alfar from Norse/Germanic tradition. They don't relate to Santa. Or Christmas.
