You made a wand, lol

What are your expectations of magic..

Seeing as you made a wand, I'm betting you're likely Harry Potter inspired and have no conception of what real magick is.

You'll never need a wand in real magick.

Welcome to the site Chris, just to rectify a small dig which has been made at you on your first day here.....

Whilst it is true you will never NEED a wand, a wand is still a ceremonial tool which many practitioners use.

For example in the LBRP Crowley's instructions are to use a wand for the pentagram ritual, I personally either use a dagger or my finger.

I the watch tower ritual you need all four of the elemental weapons, or if you like Regardie substitutions for them- a wand is still better than a match in my opinion.

It represents the will and the element fire, and is used in many traditions and organisations which adhere to the Western mystery tradition or is derived from it, this includes the Golden Dawn, A.'.A.'.. and Wicca.
