Something strange

Hi guys
I've been looking for some type of white magic lately coz I have good intention to help my ex. I want him to be able to stop being a player, treat woman better & stop playing/hurting other woman's feeling. So last night something very weird happened. When I was reading magic stuffs & all the sudden i smell a very very strong candle on my bed. I didn't light any candle anything at all. Was that kinda weird? Anybody can tell me if that was normal?
When I was younger some psychic told me I have some kinda connection to spirit. I'm not sure if I should believe...

I would also like to know why this keeps happening to me lol. Alot lately. I smell a candle burning or like it smells when you put one out. Even walking down the street.

It is believed that spirits emit certain scents

When you start your magical path, gods/goddesses might notice you and show themselves to you in certain ways to let you know that they are open to work with you, that you can choose them as your patron god/goddess. Random scent is a known way that they do it.

I suggest researching that that scent was and what deity it associates with and decide if you want to choose them as your patron.
