You do not "summon" a Deity, that would be just plain rude and would likely annoy the Deity in question. You might "invite" the Deity to be present or request their presence, but summoning one would be a very, very bad idea.

That is particularly true with the Morrighan. She can be a very uncomfortable Deity to work with and the lessons she teaches can be painful. I'm suspecting that you know very little about the Morrighan right now. Perhaps you should do some more research about her. In particular I'd suggest reading the story of the Morrighan and Cu Cuchulain to see how she reacts if not treated with utmost respect.

I do know how to respect deities and spirits. you have to do the same with dragons. And you are right I do know little of the Morrighan and thats why I left a forum for information of her.

Sorry! If i appear rude

Pasht, Lark wasn't saying that you were rude she said summoning a deity was rude and she's right. The deities need to be treated with the utmost respect especially the dark goddesses. If you're not sure about calling something into your circle you probably shouldn't be calling it.

Do you have any kind of relationship with The Morrighan? Do you make Her offerings, or worship Her in any way? She would probably be more favourably inclined towards you if you make these small but potent steps.

I'd also suggest picking up a copy of 'Guises of the Morrigan' by David Rankine and Sorita d'Este as it gives an extensive cover of Her myths, facets and epithets.

Do bear in mind though that one does not need to 'summon' a deity. Making offerings, prayers and time to honour Them draws Them to you and your work. When you begin honouring one or more deities look for signs of Them. They don't tend to appear as eight foot tall glowing figures in flashes of lightning but are far more subtle.

I would say that i agree with what the others have said. I really like the idea of building a relationship with her, make offerings and study as much as you can and then invite.

Most likely 1. She will ignore you. However a More terrifying 2nd option is that she appears to you. ;)
