Having trouble with spell
By:
Post # 1
Working on a book and i am having difficulty writing out a spell. I know what it does just dont know how to go about writing the spell out. From looking around its not a real spell but was hoping to make the spell sound convincing as though it was one.

So I am here for some advice/pointers about putting one together.

Here are some writing pointers if you want;
When I was in College, I had gone through many English classes. Composition I & II, American Literature I & II, a couple of english classes at a University. All these for reports, essays, research papers. I've done many. For necessity, I had to buy a Webster's New World Dictionary and Thesaurus. It was about $20.00 and, was well worth it. I've had it for 10 years and, is invaluable for everyday communications of any sort. However, a modern day method is simply by, googling in the search box;
Dictionary; define "centaur" key in with the quotes (or whatever word you need defined).
Thesaurus; Synonym for "prosperity"
As Google results appear add to your favorites column the best website that has the best definition or the best synonyms.
This also works for; Rhyme for "me"
All the above is the first step.
The second step is to write whatever comes into your mind. You want your thoughts typed out(as I prefer instead of writing) or written out before you lose that thought or gets crowded out by other urgent thoughts.
Third step is to step away from what you have written down, do something else then come back with a fresh point of view, change the first draft as you see fit, and start looking up words that you think can maybe fit better. Then, put it away, do something else and come back to this with another fresh point of view.
You get it. This may seem like a long process but, believe me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a breeze. Just look at the way I write. I'm a witness.
Cheers. Blessed Be.
