Was this a spell?

Hi, I just joined this to try and find out if someone has/had put a spell on my partner.

In one of his shirt pockets I found the following; please if anybody knows what this is could you let me know.

A small piece of white paper folded in half and then half again about an inch long and half an inch wide. Around the middle of the little parcel was a long piece of white cotton/thread wrapped around the middle. On the outside of the paper it had the words 'P/P' and also my partners name (spelt wrong I might add!).

Out of curiosity I unravelled the cotton and opened up the paper and in the middle was a light brown powder which looked a bit like cinammon powder or something similar. The powder was really fine not coarse like sugar.

I would really like to find out if this was a spell/curse.

My partner was a bit freaked out, he is of African origin and believes in voodoo and curses and so burned the piece of paper and the powder.

If this was a spell does anybody know what kind of spell it was?

Please any answers would be grately appreciated

Or have ever considered that maybe your partner might have bought himself some drugs and freaked because you found it!

Um, what Opal said, also someone would have had to have gotten close to your partner to get it into his pocket. Do a cleansing if you two are still worried about it.
