I just started candle spells but sometimes I get confused and may get the words backwards I try to keep on track but does this cancel the spell

Yes it will if you miss important parts. If you have trouble remembering what your suppose to say or do write it down. The spell your trying to do will not work if you miss the most important parts of it. I hope this helps you out.

You don't have to memorize mantras or pre-written intent. Reading from script is okay as long as you have read it and know what to expect. If it's a spell you use more than once, then you may naturaly remember it without reading it while casting and thats cool. Maybe not though and thats okay too.

I'd say it's a good idea to write down what you have to say or do and take your time when saying the spell, theres no need to rush it.

try slightly memorizing it before the spell, even repeating it a couple times during the casting. if you stumble over one unimportant word [the, and, still...] just keep reading, otherwise you will just break your concentration. of course if you are merely reading the words then whats the point?
