Curse Issues

All right guys, I guess I better start with the history of this, quite awhile ago I put a curse on someone I really didn't like (my now step dad) it was a stupid thing to do and it was some hormonal rubbish over blaming him for my parents divorce but none the less the curse was placed, now the curse did exactly as it was supposed to it sat there gathering in power and then, and I've checked this in my diary, two years from when I cast it he's been admitted to hospital with multiple blood clots in both lungs and high risk of myocardial infarction, now its nothing medicine can't fix and i've now learnt it's best not to use magic unless necessary but I really want to get rid of this curse to ensure it doesn't get any worse but nothing I'm doing seems to be shifting it so I was wondering if anyone has anymore specific ways of dealing with them?
Thanks for reading, even more if you can help,
Sky

Have you tried a healing poppet? This will also have to be a hex breaking one as well. Make a doll out of white cotton fabric, fill it with a mixture of eucalyptus, wormwood, toad flax, nettle, chili pepper, thyme, and fennel. You can also make a pair of lungs out of pink cotton fabric and fill it with lemon balm, elder flowers, mullein, mint and garlic and place this inside the doll in the proper location. As you make the doll name it with your subject's name and infuse it with healing energy and energy to break the hex that you put on them. I would start making it during the waning moon to use the idea of as the moon disappears so does the hex and then during the waxing moon charge it with energy of the growing moon to bring healing. A good place to keep it would be on an alter. During the full moon take the doll and burn it in a fire to consume the magic and release it into the universe. Make sure you stay focused on your subject and the things you wish to change. Take the ashes and smear them on a picture of your subject and keep it on an alter. You should start to see results by the next full moon.

Thanks kts, I'll try that because whilst I've recently managed to aid stabilising him (although I think most of it was the doctors lol) and he can now leave the hospital but he will be on drugs for a while and the curse is definitely still lingering there, hopefully this can shift it. In the meantime if anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them. I'm also going to be placing some spells to keep him happy because he cant drink alcohol with the drugs which for him is probably like torture (not saying he's alcoholic he just likes wine a lot lol)

Does that work if you're not catholic? I mean I've never been to church once in my life and I don't exactly pray every night

Whether you believe or not, in any religion, praying can never hurt. You can pray and pray, and what's the worst that can happen? It doesn't work right? Praying is worth a try, especially since it's not just specific to Catholics, or Christians in general- praying works in ANY religion, where you are praying to deity, God or the Goddess. KTS had some great ideas, and it's worth trying those too.

I think it's great you shared this, thank you, and I hope other people will learn from your mistake, and don't do the same thing. Cursing is serious business, and while it may not always work, you have to think about the repercussions of your actions.

I dont understand why you think you would need to be catholic to use a healing poppet. Is it because she recommended placing it at an altar? I can assure you hers is a lovely pagan altar, which she likely has added some seasonal touches for mabon. If you dont have one of your own, it is simple to make a small one for yourself that reflects your personal beliefs.

there is a book by dorothy morrison its called "utterly wicked" it talks about curses and how to reverse them. also it gives great detail on how to make poppets. a lot of the book is about cursing but you can use some of the ideas and make them your own for good rather than cursing. i hope it helps :)

You can try to reverse it, but take a few things into consideration. First of all, are you sure it was the curse that made your stepdad ill? Did you specifically program the energy to make him have some irrieversable disease? If so, your going to need to accept responcibility for your actions if it gets worse. You should be doing everything in your power to heal him, reiki, poppets, voodoo, spells, creative visualization, and even gathering various herbs to give to him. Even if he doesn't get better, part of taking responcibility for your actions is telling him you placed the curse. He probably won't be very forgiving but I do think it's very important that you explain to him what you did, that your over your issues with him and a very large heartfelt apologie for him getting sick. But if you think he is a violent man, you need to do what you think necessary to keep yourself safe. But remember that after he gets better, you should be doing everything possible to reconstruct your relationship with him, even if you didn't tell him about what you did, appreciate his love and support, and frequently thank him for being there for you.

Blessed be,

Kody )O(

All right guys, I'm going to try and reply to a lot of people here so sorry if it's confusing.

Firstly lindcash420, the catholic question was in response to a post which is now missing about asking catholic priests, which is why it seems as if Im asking about a poppet.

Thanks for the suggestion minx, Ill keep an eye out for that book.

Finally LilacCura, I have told him awhile ago, he doesn’t believe that it is but its another thing off my conscience, I cant be sure that my curse gave him the dvt but it is a possibility, fortunately dvt is reversible fairly easily through medicine although hopefully the healing spells Ive been using have been helping as well.

And a quick thank you to everyone who has tried to help, the curse has now been resolved but as KerrieSerene pointed out if you do have any further suggestions do add them in the hope that someone else may benefit from them.
