How is help viewed?

Just curious. What is the general rule of thumb on here when people are asking about magic and spells?
Do we just provide it?
Is it frowned upon?

Usually if you ask for a spell caster, or spells, we tell you to go do it yourself, because if you have to ask for a spell you don't know enough about magick.

However, if you ask for aid or knowledge then in general we are very happy to help, unless it is something ridiculous and mythological.

Sorry for the miscommunication.
I wasn't asking about if "I" ask for a spell, or a spell cast.
I was asking about if someone else asks for help, and I choose to help them.

It did not sound like that, and it depends what kind of help you were offering.

Any kind of emails to spellcasters, or saying you will cast for them for a price is always frowned upon.

Casting for others is not necessarily a bad thing, but they don't learn anything.

If you are just offering wisdom then that is very very much accepted, but it all depends on what you are actually telling them.

Well. my title was "how is help viewed"
Meaning, how is it viewed when you help someone.

re: "Do we just provide it?"
When I said "we", I meant myself included.

Is there a discrimination on this site for some forms of the occult over others?

Is there a history of "wisdom" coming back with a backlash?

Wow okay, a little bit harsh of a response just because the question confused me somewhat, I didn't kill someone and certainly didn't need it re-typed.

No I have never seen anyone discriminted on the site, only those who act as though their views are fact are a little bit pushed out.

What kind of backlash could that be? All we do is offer them some guidence, what they do with it is up to them.

I am sorry if that came off as harsh.
And quoting is not just for you, it's for everyone. It helps clarify what is being discussed.

You said "It did not sound like that".
I guess my response could be "how could I have written it so that it could be better understood"?
