We don't use chakras in my path
But the third eye is universal in the occult
Manly P Hall found out there is a gland right there called the penal Gland or something like that
He has a book all about opening it
There are various ways to open your eye, remove the veil
Etc,eatch path is different
Meditation is a great way, work on your breathing to get your blood flowing this helps greatly. This is a beginning

Avatar the last Airbender did a really good job at explaining it in one episode. I know the show is not real, but when it came to chakras it kept very close to reality.

@ Collin love that show. The Guru episode did a good job explain the chakras for kids. Really good introduction.

You should start from the root and work up. The root grounds you and each chakra opens you up to other aspects until you get the the crown or spiritual chakra. Your third eye is for insight, and if you just focus on that one chakra, people believe you could get migraines, even hallucinations, because energy is pooling in that one area. The energy must flow naturally through your body so there's a balance. When the chakras are balanced your third eye will work fine, you don't have to focus on just one and ignore the rest.

Each chakra is associated with a variety of sights, sound, smells, and activities. Even colours and crystals can help balance the chakra in question. The third eye is associated with the colour purple, focus on creative activities [drawing, colouring, sculpture, decorating] and rely more on your intuition over your logic. [But don't do crazy things like walk down a dark alley or gamble away all your money. Little things like what to eat or if you buy one lottery ticket by 'sensing' the numbers.]

Merry Meet SEGA,

A chakra is a spiritual energy pool in your body. There are seven running up the base of your spine but I have heard some people believe there are others throughout your body. Myself, I've only worked with and sensed the seven along my spine.

Root: red chakra located at the base of the spine. Represents being grounded.
Sacral: orange chakra located in the abdomen bellow the navel. Ability to accept new people and situations.
Solar plex: yellow chakra located near the stomach. Self worth and confidence.
Heart: green chakra located near the heart. Helps us love openly.
Throat: blue chakra located in the throat. Able to communicate clearly and effectively when balanced.
Third eye: purple chakra located on the forehead. Insight and intuition.
Crown: pink/white chakra located on the crown of one's head. Spiritual connection.

Granted there's a lot more to it and having one too open or too closed can have a slew of effects on a person. Plus this is all based on belief.

Blessed Be.
