do children inherit gifts

I have always been an empath. Its a part of who i am. I didnt realize i was channeling until i was in my late teens. I also have a very high energy that manifests with any powerful emotions whatever they be at the time. Again i didnt start trying to control that until my late teens. I think my children are also empaths with high energy. Does anyone have any experience with this? Sadly i have a very estranged family and cannot gain any insight from them. Any knowledge or experiences with this kind of would be appreciated!

Its odd, I was just talking about this...

My gf, her sister and my gf's daughter seem to have an ability and I suspect that it is inherited from their mother/grandmother.

Now none of them practice ANY kind of spellcraft and are staunch RC's.

But I'll know my gf is is going to call or that she's thinking about me, same with her sister. Im not psychic at all, this has to do with their ability to project their thoughts, not my ability to receive.

Im going to just leave it at that for the time being

So yea, I believe talents of extraordinary abilities can be inherited.

All of the women in my family have gifts that we got from our Russian ancestors. And when I say "ancestor" I mean wayyyyy back. For me at least. I'm the youngest on that side of my family, lol. Or at least we're gifted according to my cousin and my grandma. I personally still don't know up from down with that kind of stuff yet. Working on it :)

It's very likely for your children to inherit your powers as well as your interest in the Craft. Magic is in the blood. (Not to say you have to related to someone to practice, just that it makes it more natural)
I don't quite know what exactly you'd call me but I can see the future and manipulate people's thoughts. My sister is psychic, my grandmother, as far as I can tell, was and my cousin was a Warlock. This kind of thing tends to be a part of the family. I would recommend just helping your kids to control it, because it can be very scary for children to develop powers and not understand them.
Hope this helps!

Yes, it is inherit. I come from a long line of women on both sides of my family with abilities, psychic and some witches. My husband also comes from a line of ancestors with abilities and we both have very strong abilities, as do our children.

Helping them understand and not fear their abilities will be crucial to their development.

I guess, I'm wondering if you want to advice? Or just to know you're not alone?

My mom tried to raise me in a "normal" life and made me believe my premonitions and spirit guides were figments of my imagination. She made me feel crazy. I have many abilities that would not be suppressed and I spent much of my life wondering what was wrong with me.

If I could leave you with anything...don't try to give them a "normal" life. There is no normal. They are, who they are. Teach them how to embrace their gifts and not to fear them.

My mother now sees she was wrong, but she did what she thought was best.

I watched my two year old, tell some noisy spirits to "get out NOW!!", Lol! She wasn't afraid...she new exactly what to do, because I taught her. To her...this is normal. She lives without fear and knows how to protect herself.

Please feel free to message me if you would like to talk further. I know how challenging it is to raise children with abilities. ;)

Many Blessings to you!
