Food For Thought

Why don't people believe in natural witches? Aren't there such things as athletes? Or writers? Sure you have to work on it. But some people are just born with gifts. So why can't people be born with the magical gift? And please only reasoned responses. Keep it nice.

I'll grant that some people are born with natural magic intuitions. However, I believe every skill necessary for casting magic can be learned. It'll just be a harder climb to the top for someone starting lower than a natural-born witch.

However, only part of being a "good" witch is having the intuition. The other equally important part is prolonged study and practice, and that doesn't come from a hereditary trait.

Blessed be.

Psychics, and all variations, E.G Mediums, Psychic Vampires, and others are born with gifts which can be recreated through spells if one studies hard enough. There are three psychic families I know in my town, including mine, I'm the only one to practice magic but still, I doubt I'd be any use if it weren't for my gifts. I like to think that most people are what we might call dormant psychics, or dormant witches, and when they come from a certain background they tend to either surpress or become aware of their abilities and from there they open up into the beautiful flowers that everyone could be if they tried.
