Have you worked with the basics? Do you have the proper intent? What spells have you cast?

^^ agree, more information is needed.

if you have a real spell and not a 'turn into a vampire' spell. did you charge and focus your energy, visualizing the outcome? did you follow the steps and get the correct ingredients?

Assuming you know the basics, you could be using a spell that can't work, (teleporting, vampire, flying, vanishing, ect.) you might be casting it wrong, you might be too unexperienced to cast it, or you're distracted.

You need to live breathe and feel the spell in you and your AURA
you have to put so much Energy in to it sometimes drain yourself to make it work, you must have the Attitude that it will work 100% theres no other way or it wont cast

"you must have the Attitude that it will work 100% theres no other way or it wont cast"

Not exactly. True, it won't work if you're so sure it's going to fail that it's disruptive to your energy and focus, but most of the time a spell will work even if you are a little unsure. I've been unsure of things and had them succeed. I once made a sigil just as an example for students and it went ahead and worked anyway... I'm not even sure I had belief one way or another in that instance! And in Sons of the Goddess author Christopher Penczak tells how he cast his first spell being quite sure it would fail and actually ended up studying magick and Wicca because of what a blatant success the spell was.

I'm moving right now so my stuff is sort of jumbled, but if you want me to find that Penczak story I'd totally go rummage through my books for you.

This is something I've been having to say a lot recently, so please take note and remember this, reality does not care what you do or do not believe. The only reason lack of belief affects your magick is because active doubting something clutters your mind and disrupts your focus. That's it. Werewolf spells don't work and reality doesn't care how much you believe in it, and the LBRP works and has worked for a very long time and, like the computer I currently use, it will continue to work no matter how much I close my eyes and plug my ears and chant that it doesn't work and never has.

As was so astutely phrased by Philip K. Dick, "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

Not only that but people who lack belief may focus directly on "this spell won't do anything" countering the effect of the spell itself. You can't have contradictive thoughts at the moment of casting and not have it effect the outcome. This also also goes for belief itself. Sometimes belief can be an equal enemy. Those who do a dark spell against their belief that harmful magick has a backlash will in fact cause backlash if their fearful thoughts of cloud their mind while casting. Positive belief does benefit in the fact that it allows for a peaceful one track mind.
