Nobody can tell you for certain, there are many beliefs out there, and if you choose to believe that they remain with you, or watching over you, that is your choice; and for all anyone knows, you could be right.

Just a personal thought- The people who pass on are always with us in our thoughts and in our hearts. You are their gift to the world, they have helped shape you in some way and passed on their love and lessons to you, and it is up to you to carry on their existence in your own memories and thoughts. In that sense, they will never leave you, some essence of them will always be there.

No one can answer this becoz no one died and came to life again to tell about what happens after one dies. Where the soul goes the soul knows.

Diviner: Death is reality no one can change. Moreover if u think u can hear dead that'z just imagination or illusion not real .

I'd be careful how you word your answers Wolf, there are a great many practices that involve communing with the dead spread across almost every culture and religion. Whether or not you believe those individuals are talking to the dead or a symbolic interpretation of those individuals forged from their own minds is down to you however I always think it best to avoid calling someone else's path imagination or illusion.

Despite that I'd echo the previous responses. No one really knows what happens after someone dies. It's ultimately down to your own beliefs.

It's a matter of faith. When our bodies die, this life ends. If you do not believe in a soul/spirit then that's it. If you do believe in a soul/spirit [which I do] then any number of theories exist. Personally if we have 'unfinished business' or died suddenly, we linger as spirits until we are ready to let go of this life. If we pass and don't have a reason to stay on Earth, we go to Summerland where our spirit rests until we are ready to be reborn.

Others believe we are instantly reincarnated, we go to heaven/hell, or any number of other options. No one really knows. I feel if you're not ready your grandparents [one or both] will watch over you, but once you're ready, they will cross over.

It's hard to lose loved ones, try not to look at it like 'one day everyone will be dead' and look at it more as an opportunity to make memories every chance you get.

Some people are skeptical and have a right to be, I myself am skeptical of most mediums, however I have an open mind. I hold no objective thought to astral sessions.

However, I will say a couple of mediums have impressed me and I have a hard time being skeptical of them.

Also: I think this whole debate is not called for on this thread, nor does it help with the original question.
