I know how to draw energy up. I know how to ground. One of the elm trees is sick so I tried placing my hand on it and drawing energy into it to help heal it. Is this silly of me or is there a chance I can help it this way?

Yes! A few of the various trees on my property are sick too. I kind of did a similar thing, but also trimmed and lopped off dead/ dying branches ( with the tree's permission, of course!). The ones I did this to seem to be slowly recovering, even producing more blossoms/ buds than last year!
Thank you. Yes I had already trimmed & new growth had started but a bad last minute ice storm made tree popcicles for three days and the elm does not seem to be recovering, so I tried this.

There is a very serious disease of elm trees, rapidly becoming world-wide.Just about all elms in Britain are dying. The Forestry Commission is working hard to find a cure, but it is very difficult;the disease spreads so fast! And the "cause" is not really known, though it is thought to be spread by a species of wasp. In Britain the situation is very worrying!

The disease is known here as "Dutch Elm Disease" because it was first discovered in Holland. (Netherlands). It is very serious, and there is no known remedy. As you say, it really is terrible!

I also have noticed elms and certain other species (ash, some oaks) that have been sickly. We have really bad Chinese beetle infestations here in the U.S, as well as elm disease. Saddens me to no end, as I have always had a strong connection with trees.
