Gagged

How does someone get Gagged without any posts? I just saw someone who said they were gagged, but when I checked their History, they had no forum posts..?

There can be several reasons. They may have been gagged for something in their profile. Or they might have been gagged for something they did in chat. And it's also possible that they were gagged for a post they put in the forums but that post was deleted because it violated one of the rules. Lots of times people claim not to have done anything wrong, but I can assure you that they had to have broken one of the site rules in order to be gagged.

Wait... I thought you couldn't message people if you were gagged. How would they tell you that if they were gagged, or am I mistaken?
