pronouncing names right

Merry Meet to all, I was wondering if mispronouncing the names of some goddesses and gods will affect a spell. There are some that are a real tongue twister. Blessed Be Cat

If the spell requires that you call upon a particular God or Goddess and you don't say the names correctly then the spell is unlikely to work. If you don't say the name correctly then the Deity you're calling on might well not respond to you at all, or they might be annoyed that you can't even take the time to know how to pronounce their name and visit some unpleasantness on you.

I would learn how to pronounce the name. I get annoyed when they mispronounce my name at the stores. Its a good English name, and living in the states, you'd think they would at least know how to pronounce it. One 'n' makes the vowel long, two makes it short. So easy! But they still get it wrong.
If it upsets me, I can imagine how a god would feel. Pretty upset I would say. Take the time to learn it. Its not that hard. Just my thoughts
