Hey, i may be able to help. I'm Irish, and speak small amounts of Irish (gaelic) which is derived from the old Celtic languages, so if it's similar to Irish, i may be able to help. :)

Thank you any help would be appreciated, I've been interested in the Gods and Goddesses of the Tuatha de Danaan, and I completely don't know how to pronounce names such as these:

Cuchulainn
Gobniu
Ailill Dubh-Dedach
Dagda

The first one is defiantly pronounced like Coo (like a stereotypical owl noise) and then cullin, like the cullin family in the Twilight movies. Coo-cullin.

The second one looks pretty okay to me. pronounce as spelt would be my advice.

the third is pronounced ah-ielle (i think), dubh is pronounced like the word dove, with a u instead of an o, dubh (which is the irish word for black), and dedach is pronounced day-dach, with emphasis on the ach, lick a hacking noise.

the forth, like the second, sounds like it's spelt to me :)

hope i helped :)

Once again I thank you for helping me out, like I said above I've been really interested in the Gods and Goddesses of the Tuatha de Danaan and I just somehow feel really connected to them even thou I can't pronounce their names!. Even thou I've heard some people say be wary of the Morrigan, I just feel a strong connection towards her even thou I've never had a sort of conversation or anything of that sort with her.
