Now, I know that the stereotypical view of a vampire is not correct, and it is impossibly to magically transform yourself into a vampire magically, but please keep the following in mind.
I was looking at the news today on BBC and found an oddly placed article about modern vampires. It went on for some time, and stated that "Vampires" are real people that have a sort of ache in their stomach that can only be quenched by human blood. They went on to say that not all of them believe in the supernatural, or even the paranormal. Some hold professional medical careers, and they come from all walks of life.
Would you be willing to accept that these are real vampires?
I've heard of people like this. I also know there are some people who are emotional/spiritual vampires. Knowing or un-knowing they feed off of other's personal energy.
Ran into one of them and they didn't know it, but you just get drained when you are around them. Also saw something about it on I think a history channel documentary. If it interests you I would try looking it up.
The documentary was discussing sanguine "vampires", they aren't vampires in the slightest just people and although they do have normal lives some of them have the "ache" due to a medical condition and nothing more.
So there is no option but to accept that they extist, because they are human and we accept humans, but they are never vampires, a term that they have latched onto.
I am sorry to say that vampires or any other mythical creature do not exist on this plane. People who think are vampires, usually tend to have medical conditions that make them think they are.

Anyone may believe anything they want to believe. But that doesn't mean that it is true! And when you state that a belief is a fact; that, is a delusion!
I too saw that documentary and personally my opinion is that maybe they just want to be something they look up to. Though they say they need blood, get stomach aches, sleep at night. Family members/friends/ co-workers will say before they got into there vampire craze they where normal like you an I. You only live once, and if this is there way of having fun, and they have fun doing it without hurting others why not.
I have also read that another form of vampires are people like you an I, who also study magick/cast spells an do rituals. But instead of tamping into the energy of ones self/earth/ext they take it from others.

There's no vampire physically, Like you might have seen in some movies (Eclipse, Vampire hunter etc).
But unfortunately vampires do exist, those are spiritual vampires.
There are stories and legends going back years and years on creatures that we now call vampires. My belief is that stories have to have some truth to it. The idea of a human-like creature having a thirst for blood, or the need of human blood, had to come from somewhere. No imagination no matter how vast can come up with something just out of the blue. Especially if there are documentations on these ideas going back centuries. Yes, these creatures will not be like the sparkling Edward from twilight. But there is some truth to the tales.
