What an interesting place
By:
Hello, I have been on this site for just over 24 hours, and I have met some interesting beliefs, some new concepts, rudeness and kindness. I logged onto chat, tried again, and again, then realized that I had to accept the terms, then when I got on I found a discussion on the types of salt....
I am not sure why I am here, if there is a "something" here that I need or even want. But I am looking forward to finding out.

I have a few questions that are not covered in the FAQ
One in a few profiles there is this mention of "limit" such as if I have reached my limit try..... What is this limit?
Two, what is the etiquette for jumping into discussions? If you know then speak (or as a good friend used to put it, "If you think you know (then you probably don't) then go on ahead and put your foot in your mouth" or is it more formalized then that?

Anyway, thank you for letting me invade your site, and online home for the last day. If I have offended please forgive.
Blessed be
Anpu

The limit is based on how numerously and rapidly you send emails. Essentially it prevents spam and the like.

There's not a great deal of formal etiquette regarding leaping into conversation around here. I come off more gruff than I intend most of the time, but in general it's best to just attempt to remain courteous and try not to repeat what has already been said. This doesn't stop everyone (and indeed, sometimes I slip up), but basic conversational etiquette applies.
