a quick question

(Forgive me if this has already been done, or its on the wrong forum)

OK, so I was reviewing what black magic and white magic were. I'm beginning spellcasting, so I am trying to choose either white or black magic, though the only problem is I want to do both, is that possible? Or will it cause something terrible to happen? Thanks in advance.

Magick doesn't have a colour, it is the intention behind what you are doing that creates the "colour".

There are two articles you should read in the spell section: Black magic and white magic.

Read them at some point. For now, understand that magic is magic. It has no color. It is.

Black and white also know as bad and good, baneful and beneficial, negative and positive, are moral judgments. This judgment depends on the person who is judging. If they don't like what you are doing they will call it 'black' if they like it they will call it 'white'. I dislike both words. They are pointless, they cause issues, they confuse people, and they lack any true importance or help to anyone.

It is possible to do both. One is not confined to a choice. You can cast what you feel it sufficient for the situation, or not cast at all. It is a personal choice. You must make it yourself.

Now, lest you misunderstand, magic has a 'cost'. Everything you do has a cost. You will have to face the consequences of your decisions, in magic as in life. If you are willing to deal with what may come from your working, feel free to do it. If you are not willing to pay the cost, I suggest you take a good hard look at what you are doing and what your motivation is.

Things go wrong. That's Murphy's Law (google it). Action and reaction are what propel life. Work out how you will deal with what might come prior to doing a working. Learn to stop before you start. If you intend to summon, make sure before you do know that you can send it back. When I learned to drive a car, the first thing I was taught was where the brake was. The instructor said it was the safest way to learn.

Understand that magic doesn't give you control. It is a matter of degrees of influence. You cannot make certain things happen regardless of how much you want them to. You can screw things up to the point your life begins to suck.

As it's been said magick has no colour only intent. People see it in black and white when it's grey if it is any colour. Love spells are seen as 'white magic' but if you stop and think about it, most love spells could be considered 'black magic'. Example, casting a spell to get your crush might seem like white magic because you are not hurting anyone physically, however, you are basically telling your crush that their opinion doesn't matter and they must bend to your will. Doesn't that sound harmful? Cast and call it whatever you want so long as you have thought about it and are comfortable with the consequences.
