What would my dream mean?

Hey guys!
I don't mean to sound like a fluff first of all, since this was a dream and I was just looking for your interpretations.
I've heard about dragon magick and looked at it occasionally awhile ago, but I didn't do any spells yet because I want to make sure I am fully prepared before I do any spells of any sort. I'll try to remember my dream the best I can.
Today I had a dream about this oddly shaped island. I remember it had a distinct shape but I don't remember what that shape was. On this island, there were dragons. Fire dragons, water dragons, etc. They all had representations that went with their characteristics, such as the fire dragon's first actions were always through anger, if that made sense.
I was trying to find my own personal dragon, but I didn't feel like I was actually there on the island even in my dream. I had walked around the island several times, and was trying to befriend the fire dragon but that never went well. A while later, the fire and water dragon started fighting, and if they had kept fighting then they both would have been killed.
While they were fighting, this purple dragon that I didn't see before flew by. It was a large and sturdy looking dragon, but it also had looked like it had gone through a lot of previous pain. This purple dragon and I instantly had this connection, and this part is a little confusing to explain, but for a minute we were each other. Like, we were the same energy, if that makes sense, but by doing that, he/I had stopped the fire and water dragons from fighting. Then we were back to being our separate selves.
From what I gather of this purple dragon, he's almost invisible to others until they need him, whether they know it or not, and he goes through a lot of pain from helping, but he still continues to do so. He is constantly damaged but he stands taller than ever each time because he knows who he is and why he's doing this.
I thanked him and then I woke up from that dream and had one about bombs being dropped really close to my house and this man was on fire but I couldn't do anything to help.
Do you think this dream would have any meaning? I haven't read/ watched/ heard anything about dragons for maybe months, but I also hadn't done any dragon magick spells. Is it all just random or do you think it has a connection to dragon magick, or other meanings?
I hope I made sense, thank you for reading (:

well first off, though most see dragons as "fluff" I personally believe they do exist. Probably not in this world anymore but did at one time. And I also believe, or more so know, that they do in other realms because I have been there and seen them for myself.

Following a theory I heard from a book by Silver RavenWolf. She believes that there is three types of dreams; dreams of the day and issues that are on your mind that are trying to sort themselves out, dreams of astral projection, and dreams of the future. Personally I believe this is ether a dream of one of the first two I mentioned.

If it is your conciousness trying to sort out a issue, just from what you've written here it sounds to me that the two fighting dragons might represent two people you know that are fighting and the fighting troubles you. I think the purple dragon represents you, and that you may see yourself as invisble until these people need you and you want to help bring peace even if it does harm you in the process.

If its astral projecting, which can happen without trying while in your sleep because the spirit can separate from the physical body and go elsewhere. Therefore, you may have ended up on a different realm in search of your spirit dragon (the purple dragon, it seems). If you have questions about astral projecting or other realms feel free to message me on here, because I've been projecting consciously for about 2 or 3 years and know some stuff about other realms.

These are just my views, personally, dreams are kind of messages to the dreamer themselves, and the only one who can actually figure out what the dream means is the dreamer. Take time to look into the dream further, things like meditation and divination may help you find answers.

chaos has a great meaningful basis for an answer, i was thinking the same thing, when i try to interpret my dreams, i usually get a few possibilities, if that was my dream, and i was you, trying to interpret, i would say that it could be insight into your own purpose in life, it could mean several things, it could mean you might have to have the burden of bearing pain so that others may be peaceful, which isn't bad, we all have purpose in this life, some of us just get off our path, dreams can sometimes be really complex on the outside, yet have a truly simple meaning, or vise/versa, if it is a reoccurring dream, i would pay more attention to detail if i was you, anyways, hope this helps, hard to follow up such a good answer from chaos :)

Yeah usually I try to interpret my dreams, but since I've heard about this before I just wasn't sure. I could've sworn I had a really similar dream before, but I get that feeling a lot. I'm going to try to start a dream journal and see if I actually have reoccuring dreams or are just imagining it. Thank you for your answer :)
