Merry Meet!

Would you please share your ideas and suggestions for celebrating Imbolc? What have you done to honor the Goddess and what tools did you use?

Thank you all, and have a blessed Imbolc this upcoming February 2nd.

personally, i cleanse my house. i wash everything with a cleansing brew, move all my furniture, wash the floors, then use sage smudge throughout the house. after that, i light a bunch of white candles and have a circle honouring the Maiden Goddess.

that's the ritual [edited for personal preference though] that i used when i was starting out. i find it a holiday for cleansing and new beginnings, many choose to worship Brigit, but i've never been particularly close with her.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I'm cleaning out everything that belonged to my ex and having it delivered to his parent's home this Saturday. Then I'm gonna clean my house from top to bottom and make a small altar for the Goddess with white candles and incense. I don't think I'll have enough energy to do a full-blown ritual so maybe I'll just offer thanks and a small prayer in gratitude for darkness past and spring future. Blessed be.

maybe a small dish of milk with some herbs would do as a nice offering. leave it on your altar in front of your goddess statue with some incense, maybe vanilla since it's got white flowers.
