Astral misconception
By: / Beginner
I have heard some people describing astral projection as two different things: the first one is like going to a seperate world and the second one is coming out of your body like a ghost and going places on earth. Are these both real? Is it possible for a person to know how to do both?

The first one is a misconception I guess when you astral project and goto another world its usually an astral temple from which you created and the other is more like remote viewing yes indeed you can do both.

I would argue that it is not a misconception.
That the "astral world" does exist and is more than someones astral temple. I would say the diffrent is this (although im not claim to be a master or anything) The astral world is the spirit world meaning that on it there are other spirits and astral bodies apart from you whether you know it or not.
Ones astral temple is a personal space for that person. (Although spirits could be let into it if that person so wished)

Both forms are possable, meaning walking around the physical plane with your astral body and walking around the metaphysical/astral plane or world with you astral body. You astral body can exist in each.

The "astral" is the spiritual side of the physical plane (the world we exist in).

The "ethereal" is the spiritual world itself--a network of various realms where spirits of all sorts dwell, higher and lower. This is separate but connected to the physical plane. The tree of life displays the levels of the ethereal world from lower nether regions to the highest celestial (godly/angelic/etc) reside. Truly there is no "high" or "low" like a tree, it's just a way to distinguish them.

Their are many things we can do with astral projection/journeying. It's not just a "fun" thing to do. Its not to be used for entertainment purposes. It's a way to directly interact with spirits and energy we work with magickally.

I believe that the Astral is simply a highway for our souls to travel on. It connects all that is with all there was and will be. It is Past, Present and Future brought together. The Astral might be called a different dimension, or something outside of time and space. As such, it is difficult to describe it as something we would understand as it is not.

It is so vast and limitless that our minds cannot fathom it. Some might say it is actually God, as He is timeless, bodyless and limitless. It will not be possible for anyone to say what it is as it is what you want it to be. God has said in the Bible "I am what I am.". The Astral is what it is. It is there, or it is here it does not matter. Do not trouble yourself with these questions as there is no answer and probably never will be.

May the Light of God guide you.
