I'm doing a honey jar as part of a reconciliation spell. The first night...the candle left a decent size puddle of wax afterward. The 2nd night..the puddle was half the size. Now after the 3rd night..there's nothing left but the wick! Does this mean it's working or not working?
i'm not too sure which honey jar spell you're doing, but unless the spell specifies something with the wax, like if the candle burns fast it's not working, then i don't see it being a problem.
in my opinion, if the candle burns down faster each day, it would be a sign it's working. if the candle kept blowing out, then it's a sign your efforts are fruitless.
Inside the jar are photos of me & the person I'm hoping to reconcile with...orange peel..buds of gilead..reconciliation oil & powder. Then I'm burning a pink candle on top of it on Mon..Weds...& Fri.
Maybe I'm just thinking too much about it...I'm just baffled as to where the wax is going. Lol
Sounds like the spellwork is either strong enough to be consuming the wax - or the job at hand is under such adversity that it's consuming all the candle wax. Since these are two possibilities that are quite different, you'd have to judge other working signs to know which direction the energy is going.
Regardless, keep it up. A honey jar has a "low and slow" kind of effect. This is not a quick-hit spell. It's meant to be worked repeatedly (daily or weekly) over an extended period of time. If you've only burned three candles over the jar, then i'd say it's too soon to know your ultimate results. You should stay very open to any signs and omens over the course of your work to judge how it's going.
And of course, over-thinking your spellwork is the easiest way to kill a spell. Rest assured that it's doing its work, and whatever is aligned with the will of the Universe is what's coming down the road for you.
Wow..thank you. So what types of signs should I be looking for? The lines of communication are open between us & I know that's necessary. And what omens are possible?? That scares me a bit!
