problems with channeling

I draw my energy from the sun.... pulling and storing energy of light of the sun. when i get opinions from others they tell me that pulling from one source my not be a wise thing to do, however the sun is the only thing that ensure my sucesseful meditation and channeling energy. the sun illuminating rays is like an addiction it has gotten to the point. that when i am angry or frustrated i step outside and the rays of light are calming.
(My question is): (is it bad to use the sun as a primary and only source of energy)

Not really. The good thing about the sun is its always shining, night or day. So recalling its energies now fairs quite easy.. I try to get some sun first thing, before breakfast so I can more readily recall it when needed. I also use this to help keep warm during winter.(its not as hard as one may think, :) )
