Wands

Does it make your wand more powerful if you made it yourself? Does it make a difference if you buy a wand or make it yourself? Or is there no difference at all.

In my opinion, a wand is simply a tool. It is completelt individual for how well a specific tool works. How I see it is that a Wand is part of setting the mood, helping relax oneself, and giving the feel of directing energies. For many practitioners a wand is a "must" because it helps them feel more connected with their spellwork.

For me, I use a wand, however sometimes I don't. It depends on my mood. Magick is all about you and what works for you. If you like a wand you'd like to purchase, go for it! It could work just as well as making one yourself.

There are traditions that require a person to ask to take a piece of wood to craft into a wand, and there are practices that think such things are silly.

It's all about what resonates with you and what you feel comfortable using.

Blessed be,
-Josh
