Black Magic Disadvantages

I got interested in black magic, but i want to know what are the disadvantages of using hexes and curses?

for one, the rule of three.

To elaborate on what Insomnia was saying the law of three is the belief of most magic practicioners of karma. Whatever you do bad to a person will come back three fold (a.k.a three times)
"Ever mind the Rule of Three, three times what thou givest returns to thee, this lesson well, thou must learn, thee only gets what thou dost earn" to be exact it works both ways.
If you play with fire there's no doubt you'll be burned, especially if you're new to magic. So, I would suggest at least going over some white magic before you get down to the nitty gritty.

So, can I protect myself form the threefold law? Can i use protection magic to protect myself from the black magic I unleashed?

nope

not to over ride you sliver but there are ways to get aroung the three fold law

yup I Cast hexes all the time. But you have to powerful enuff to do it. I usually divert the karma into something else

I always say do the same to the person as what they have done to you no less no more then there will be No Karma.

Just makes a banishing box with there pic and herbs and garlic.
Or binding because theres no Karma with Binding
