Ritual Offerings,
By:

So I was reading up on some rituals and some said to give some offerings. I was wondering what does one do once the ritual is done with these offerings, Can I eat the foods or use the offerings, Do I throw them out? I was thinking of this today an became curious .

It mostly depends on your religion or the type of magick.
For most, you can bury food items as well as burn them. If the food is fit for wildlife such as seeds or nuts, then you can scatter it outside for birds or the like. If the offering will be recycled in it's own time, such as water, just leave it until it does so. It may be offensive in some religions to consume offerings, so to be on the safe side I would find another way of disposal.

Alice is correct in most things; however it can be equally rude to dispose of offerings rather than to eat them. It can be taken as "I've given you something I wouldn't eat myself", which is why I have no issues eating the offerings I make to my Kemetic gods and spirits. However, in the case of my dead folks it is considered bad form to eat the offerings as it can connect you too closely to death; few people want to shorten their time in the Seen.

Who and what are you giving offerings to Nodnard?
