does anyone know if the elder edda of saemund sigfusson (AKA the edda of saemund the wise) is the same as the other eddas? all i know is that it exists and i can buy it, and cant find info about it aside from the odd quote i come across in a book im working on, which could be havamal quotes i didnt recognize.

it costs a nice chunk of change, and i already have both the poetic and prose edda, i dont want to blow money on a book i already have

I don't know either, but maybe you could sample it on kindle. I've got a copy of one of the Eddas from another author other than Snorri that I've still got to sample but its there when I decide I'm ready. Also julu has e copies for a fraction of the price of the book. I got the Jotunbok for 5$ e copy ,the physical book is 30+ and has to be ordered everywhere around me.. Good luck.
