Enchanted Pendants

Can I enchant a stone or crystal with more than one property? For example, can I enchant an obsidian with protection, health, luck, and such? Or would it not work and it can only have one purpose?

You can enchant it for more than one purpose but be sure that the stone or whatever material is sympathetic with your goals.

Thank you, I think I understand. So if the crystals purpose it to give wealth, then the enchantments I use must be compatable with those goals?

Pretty much, yes. Wealth stones, for example, are usually green or gold/yellow so you can enchant the same crystal for purposes that align with the color or other "vibes" you get from meditating with the crystals and understanding their potential.

Quartz Crystals are pretty much universal to all goals so as a talisman for multiple uses that would be best. I also known that opals are good for multiple uses given there multiple colors but they also have some superstitions associated to bad luck if the user and bearer is not under the sign associated to the Opal. If you are using a certain rock with a certain structure, or a type of metal then you definately want to check its properties first and use it accordingly.

I do know that you may make a pentacle by engraving a pentagram onto a piece of wood and by placing it on your altar to charge it magically for a specific purpose. In the instruct that I read it did state that the pentacle would be best if used for one specific purpose but could in fact be carried for luck making it more versatile. I used mine for one specific purpose to fortell the weather with beeswax and it was very effective.
