hay guys ive been researching necromancy lately and one person said to go with an easier form of magic before you do necromancy. so i was just asking for a easier form of magic.
This is just a suggestion, but if you are unfamiliar with divination in general, you could start by studying other forms such as cartomancy or scrying before moving on to the dead.
When it comes to the various paths there is 'basics' one should 'master' before trying something that is harder to control or understand. With Dragon Magick, many feel you should study about other things like meditation, chakras, energy work, and other things that would bring some focus and understanding because if you walk up to an astral dragon knowing little and go 'I want a million dollars, get me some money' don't be shocked when you get burned [figuratively] so I think they meant you should learn another form of divination or spell work [I have never looked into necromancy] so you understand basically what to expect.
Well I have been trying to find other divination but do you have any suggestions like on that controls things like in necromancy how the shadow obey your commands well you know something like controlling flames or water or animals you know?
You cannot control the elements, shadows, or the dead. You can control animals to some degree by training them, but they still have their instincts.
Necromancy is divination through means of the deceased, not controlling them.
Necromancy is a practice of divination for the most part- communing with the dead as a source of knowledge. People normally consider divination as a sub-category of magick- they are certainly related to one another.
There are many definitions of Magick, Crowley's definition was "The Science and art of creating change in conformity of the will".
This would mean if you have the nature of soldier, then signing up for the army is just as much an act of magick as Invoking Raphael.
