Is this my spirit Animal

I first met my neighbours dog in a dream well I knew it before o died but it protected me from a shadow man then the other day it was in a dream following me around that again had spirits in. Is this my guardian spirit animal??

Evidently, you had some kind of connection, being as it shows in your dream. The dog died? Still, it can be a protector for you.

Hello, well it sounds like it, but when I met mine it was a reality experience, but I've heard of the spirit animals coming to you in dreams.
