Memory gaps.

Can casting a spell on someone cause them to get big gaps in their memory? I mean like they wake up and forget big and small things from as small as forgetting what day it is to bigger things like thinking they are still in a relationship with someone to thinking it was 2 or 3 years ago. I am worried about one of my friends and I am wondering if her problem could be caused by a spell or fixed by one.

It depends on the age of your friend to a certain extent. However, some people have excellent recall, some do not!
Memory also "plays tricks" on us as we get older. I am 81, and can remember my childhood as though it was yesterday. The problem is I cannot remember yesterday!

Normal things may also cause memory lapse, gaps, and 'brain fog.' Lack of sleep, anxiety, a traumatic incident, repressing bad memories, drug use, head injury, oxygen deprivation, vitamin deficiencies, and other health issues can all cause or contribute to memory problems.

I think this is possibly a medical problem and should be brought to the attention of a medical professional.

Sometimes the usual struggles we go throughout a day can keep our mind pretty busy so that we may start having memory issues.

But for more serious problems, some illnesses like dissociative state which is caused by a trauma or depression can create large gaps in the memory.

I don't think spells would create memory loss unless the intention was specifically that.

I agree with Z. I suffered a car accident when I was 8 years old, and it affects me even today with memory and trouble retaining what I read. I do not enjoy books for this reason. But, also, there is an auto-immune disease called fibromyalgia that causes problems with memory and concentration, along with other symptoms. There are brain malfunctions from many things that could be the cause; examples being dementia and Alzheimer disease. No spell is going to help with these kind of problems. Learning how to live with them is my only way of dealing. A good diet and remaining positive helps. Getting help from the right doctors is necessary. Affirmations might help. Braiding 3 ribbons, with each color representing things; like green for health, blue for calmness, white for protection (find colors that work for you), and as you braid, think of the reasons, then hang so it is visible every day. This may trigger what needs to be remembered and worked on. Hope this helps. Blessed Be...
