Hi this Lia, ok yeah so I'm having night mares almost everyday and I never get enough sleep, I dream I'm going to a cabin a beach where there's a story of a girl who was evil and was killed, her body was sewn with a creepy doll, and then I have dreams of this girl coming from the mirror, taking the form of my great grandma and then plunging a knife into me, and some more creepier dreams, I've tried the stop nightmares ritual but it only is for a few days, I get light sleeps and sometimes no sleep, please help me!

Nightmares are natural and most of the people experience this during their sleep. Some people have it constantly, and others have it very rarely. Before trying to stop nightmares, one must know and understand what are nightmares and what makes them to pop on during the person is asleep.

~what are nightmares and what makes them happen~?

Nightmares are frightening dreams that usually awaken the sleeper from their sleep. As I have said, this is natural and happens to most of the people who live their lives...
There are many things that make nightmares happen, such as:
a number of psychological triggers that cause nightmares in adults and grown-ups. For example, anxiety and depression can cause nightmares. Traumatic stress also commonly causes people to experience chronic, recurrent nightmares. That is the main reason of nightmares, but there might be other reasons - just try to tell yourself what did you do wrongly. For example: being under the effect of medications and substances, including alcohol and tranquilizers, may trigger nightmares. Also you might have nightmares because you have not slept well for a long time, improving your sleep will only make the situation better.
Any heavy meal cause delay in empting the stomach may cause nightmares (about your life style).
Magically you might have negativity and negative energy in your house which can cause nightmares.

I recommend you to read more articles about nightmares and how to banish them so you can be less clueless about the subject. Trust me, it helps.
After making a little research you may start the process of trying to stop your nightmares.

~What can I do to stop nightmares?~

As I said this is a medical and natural thing. After you read and learn about what causes your nightmares - stop doing the thing that disturbs your sleep.
Try to clear your mind, stop having a negative thinking, do not drink heavy drinks and do not eat heavy meals.
Simply avoid all of the things that disturb your sleep and cause you to have nightmares.

~Tips and personal recommendations~
Meditate to clear your mind, if you have any form of depression and stress try to get over it. Meditation is relevant to solve this kind of thing as well.

Your dreams seems like you do not have a clear mind due to something scary you think about, or watched. Stop watching scary movies before bed. Take part in healthy eating habits. Meditate and sooth your mind. Shower with some oils to relax your muscles, and again do not think about negative things.

It is recommended if you feel any form of negativity around you which might be the thing that causes your nightmares. Banish any negativity or malicious spirits, make a house cleansing (for all of the rooms you have). tourmaline or hematite and amethyst are are recommended to use to avoid negativities.
I also recommend to learn making a dream catcher and a simple dream pillow (you can simply put tourmaline or hematite and amethyst under your pillow). Also, lavender is a herb which is relevant to banish negativities.

Simply relax, read, avoid things that disturb your sleep and cause nightmares (you can find this sort of information in articles), and try to do what i told you.

Like Willow very correctly stated, there are many factors leading to nightmares. Are you having the same nightmares or different nightmares? If you're having the same nightmares there's something in your life that you need to deal with and your brain is trying to notify that to you. You need to find the reason behind this. Is there something or even someone in your life that has been causing trouble to you? Are you having too much stress? Stress can be a major factor for nightmares. People usually get nightmares before their exams, thing which is not random at all. Stress itself and the fear of failing your exam can trigger a nightmare. So, first off try to find out why you're having your nightmares. Meditate on it and ask for your spirit guides' help. Make sure you're in a relaxing mood before going to bed. Usually I meditate before bed and drink some chamomile tea because I tend to get really stressed during the day, and who doesn't nowadays? We live in a very busy and demanding society. Point being, you need to let go and look within. You might want to cut down on horror films because they can cause nightmares ,as well. Cleanse your room if that makes you feel safer or rather better.

Do something relaxing before bed. An hour before bed, turn everything off, turn your pc off, and everything else and just read something pleasant. or better yet meditate! Take a warm shower or you might want to take a herbal bath because that can help you relax and let go. Don't think about what happened during the day. Just let go and listen to some calming music. Last but not least, remember that -the purpose for dreaming itself may be to help us find solutions to puzzles that plague us during waking hours.

Furthermore, get into a good mood before you fall asleep. That can definitely help. In case you're having the same nightmares ( re-ocurring dreams), you should visualize winning over the situation, whatever the situation might be. Visualize it over, and over and over until it sinks in. Look lucid dreaming up - this will give you full control over your dream and you will be able to deal with it directly.

As Willow said and the user above, I suggest the same thing. You can either cleanse your resting area with some sea salt and water or try the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
