Question.

Where do I get a wand? I don't have one, and I'm wondering how and where to get it. Anything for a sorceress who casts mostly blue flame? I would watch the video on wands, but my computer is so outdated.... Well you get it. Anyhow. Please?

I heard that wands (and most other magickal tools) are most powerful if you make them yourself because you're imbuing them with your personal power as you make them.

You can make one, as previously mentioned, or you can purchase one. This site has a few of them in the site store and amazon has some pretty good ones too.

I have added a list to this section of the site called "Wood and Wands" if you are going to use your wand for a particular purpose it might help you find the wood most associated with said purpose.

Also, keep in mind that you don't necessarily need to use a wand. You can just use your hand and fingers to direct energy. As with most magical tools, you don't need a wand unless you think it will help your focus in spells and rituals.

Blessings,
Loni

You honestly can pick up a stick and bamm you got a wand. You make it yourself however you please. Many people will even use wire instead of wood. Its purpose is to help you focus, its not magic by itself.

Some people also decorate them with runes or other symbols or objects. How you make it and what you use is entirely up to you. If you want to make your own, I would suggest experimenting with a few different materials and ideas and see what you can come up with.

yepz. I like it. I got a really strong stick from my backyard, and carved the way I like it with my pocket-knife. It looks awesome!

thats sick. Don't listen to her. You don't have to do that, I don't know why you would even want to do that. Personally, I like wands that are from the tip of my middle finger to the crook of my arm, to add a little 'me' to the wand. But a wand can be a y length you like.
