Meditating Question

Oh ok so. Today was my 2nd time meditating... On my first one I lasted for about 13 minutes. Today I only lasted for 8 minutes today then I tried again and lasted 9 minutes.

I only have done meditating for 2 days and I'm a beginner. So how many minutes should I begin meditating?

My view is that if you put a timer on meditating, that could give you some unnecessary anxiety. I would suggest you don't time it at all. Don't note the time before you start, or when you finish. That way, it is left up to you to find out what is right for you, - finish when You feel you have done enough. That will also put you well in touch with yourself. A clock can keep you stuck in the external world, focusing on an achievement goal instead of actually on your meditating. Maybe, in a few weeks, you can time yourself, and you may be pleasantly suprised to find out how much you have achieved :)
