Failure is not an option

Hey guys, I've seen many newbies joining this site and walking away from magick as if this was a fair ground or a comedy show. I just think its really sad and stupid that people get motivated to do magick, yet they fail to get the results they want or because its not like harry potter. My main reason why I find this frustrating and disrespectful, to experts of wiccan or others than bring magick into their lives. What ever happened to never ever ever give up?

Good riddance. Do you really want to deal with folks who approach spirituality like it's a game or fantasy novel?

Sorry, I agree with Awake. I would rather have people who want to be here and learn about these things rather than Harry potter fanatics who think that we can all turn rats in to water goblets .... 1 ..2...3 feraverto ( spelling?) :) I mean I love that lots of new people join but I get tired of them coming into chat askin how to raise demons when they don't even know how to meditate and don't want to learn. Just my opinion :)

I would love to be able to show those people that magic can still be just as exciting as the potter fantasy but with out all the theatrics if only they are willig to learn.

I admit that I came here with the desire to do the impossible, blame Charmed in my case, but I'm a realist or in other words I got over it fast. If you took a poll I bet many of the members came here with little knowledge, expected stuff like shapeshifting, and stayed on to actually learn the "real deal". I believe that some people get a dose of reality and decide to stick it out.

With me someone on here told me their quitting magick and for me I felt insulted by that, how can someone just walk out? Just like that. Its ridiculous.

It's not for everyone. Often if you are just "quitting" what is actually a spiritual path, it was never the path for you.
