There are lots of online stores you can find some really nice wands at... one of my favorites is www.themagikalcat.com its a great catalouge of wicca supplies and they're not too expensive, they also have a good sized collection of spell books, book of shadows, even magic books in other languages...check it out, you wont be disapointed.

A lot of the larger bookstores should have a New Age section where you can find spellbooks, (I'd recommend anything by Penczak.) As for wands, I think it's actually better to make your own... so maybe even pick up a more mundane crafts book while you're there, one that can tell you how to strip bark and which sandpaper to use or which oil to varnish with.

Try this link... Angelfire has a great site and she helps you make your own tools that you need for your workings...

I think the best way to get a wand or a book is to make it yourself. its more powerful because you are more connected to it.

they say that making your own wands makes your spells more powerful...sometimes your own finger can suffice.

Walk around a park or somewhere with tree's and and if you come across a branch on the ground from one of those tree's then you can take it home but it's best to leave a little thank you to the tree so give it an offering of milk or water then once your home you can make this branch into your wand by sanding and carving it. Or you can keep it more natural looking. The best size - from what i've read - is from your elbow to the tips of your fingers. There's also diffrent types of tree's that have diffrent magical uses but i'm not sure about all that i'm still learning myself so i reckon you should reaserch about the different magical qualitis of different tree's. :)
