Hi Paj. Learning the basics is a good start, but it would also be good to go through the forums and look for other kinds of magic you might be interested to learn about besides spells. Learning one thing often helps you get better at other practices in occultism; things build on one another. Especially techniques to improve psychic senses, subtle body projection, even just meditation. Don't be afraid to try things. The people who make occultism seem spooky usually have little to no experience with it.

Be careful about looking for a teacher. Some people think they know more than they really do and others might have ulterior motives or are more interested in selling you a certain ideology. There are also people who do know about magic, but would rather you do as much study and practice as you can on your own, then they can answer specific questions without having to spend large amounts of their time teaching what could be read online

Hi Paj. I could help you learn your craft, and give you some pointers on how to work all of this. Like the other person said, some teachers do have ulterior motives, but I promise, I'm as harmless as a bowl of soup. Feel free to message me! Blessed be.
